Who is Bougie Eats?

Bougie Eats is an online pastry academy founded by Chef Andra Dynese. The goal of Bougie Eats is to bring Chef Andra’s classroom into the homes of creatives around the world so they can learn elevated dessert techniques comfortably and at their own pace. All courses are beginner friendly and have a lifetime access to the content. Bougie Eats removes the myth that desserts are intimidating. Elevated desserts are now accessible and feasible through Bougie Eats. With over 1,400 students enrolled worldwide, Bougie Eats is becoming thee premier online pastry academy for aspiring bakers. Pastry school no longer needs to be thousands of dollars. Come learn specific skills that will help push your career forward.

Andra Dynese

Chef Andra is culinary/pastry creative based out of Memphis, TN. She received her professional training in Daytona Beach, Florida. Upon graduation, she worked for some of the best chefs, restaurants and hotels in the industry. She has also competed in two Food Network competitions and prides herself on being well-versed in both culinary and pastry. She also owns The Service Boutique, a consulting firm specializing in hospitality organizations. Along it’s her culinary and pastry degrees she has a B.S. in Event Management, a M.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and is currently working on her Ph.D. She is currently a full-time baking and pastry instructor at an university teaching classes such as chocolate and confections, contemporary cakes, artisan breads, and more. She is an artist first and has created this platform to educate fellow artists on all things culinary and pastry. Whatever your experience is, Chef Andra provides a chill learning environment for you to enhance your skills.

FAQ

  • I’m a beginner, should I take this class?

    Yes! I have designed these courses with the beginner in mind. I treat you as if you are on of my in person students in the classroom. No base knowledge is assumed.

  • Is this a live class?

    All classes have been prerecorded so that you can learn at your own pace.

  • How are classes formatted?

    Videos are pre-recorded and narrated. All course content you have access for a lifetime. Topics of courses may include, Ingredient Identification, Product and Utensil List, Full Recipes, Theory, Flavor Pairings, extra recipes, Chocolate decor, pricing, and shipping etc. Courses also include Chef Andra’s Direct Consultation.

  • What type of equipment do I need?

    I do provide a list with links of recommended supplies but they are not required. Most desserts can be created using a digital scale, bowl, whisk, spatula, small pot and stand mixer. The only requirement are molds for when it’s time to build your desserts.

  • What if I have more questions when making these desserts?

    Email me! I’d be happy to further assist you while you are creating.

  • Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?

    Yes!

  • How long will I have access to the class?

    A lifetime

  • When does the class start?

    There is no specific start date. All courses are open enrollment, self-paced and ready to go.

  • Are supplies included?

    No, but you are provided a list with links to easily find everything.
